Imagined Landscapes is an ongoing series of surreal paintings that begin as digital drawings on the iPad. The works explore how color, shape, light, and scale can construct spaces that feel both familiar and impossible. Creating worlds suspended somewhere between reality and a dream.

Within these imagined environments, everyday objects appear as protagonists: a glass, a bed, a row of teeth, a potted plant, a golf flag. Removed from their ordinary contexts and placed within expansive fields of color, they become charged with new meaning and associations. The compositions operate somewhere between landscape, still life, and set design, balancing playfulness with a subtle sense of unease. I am interested in the way unexpected juxtapositions can suggest narratives without fully revealing them, inviting viewers to inhabit a space of ambiguity, curiosity, and projection.

For me, painting is a process of searching rather than illustrating. These works emerge through experimentation and wonder, guided by intuition more than certainty. Imagined Landscapes invites viewers into spaces where logic loosens, familiar objects become strange, and meaning remains fluid—open to discovery and imagination.
